Canada an embarrasment at Poznan

Elizabeth May, the leader of the Green Party Canada, said it was an “embarrassment” to be Canadian at the climate talks in Poznan. Canada ranked second last out of 57 most polluting countries, winning several Fossil of the Day Awards, announced by Climate Action Network International. According to May, the talks did not make a difference for strenghtening climate change measures: “There was not real progress made here. It was basically an agreement to keep on talking.” Read more at CBC
