Dirty or clean?

Appalachia has become ground zero in the fight against coal mining. For an area where many depend on the mining industry, ‘coal is dirty’  it’s a hard pitch to sell. While congress is mulling over cap-and-trade legislation and ‘clean coal’ lobbyists try to influence public and political opinion, local residents are left to fight the Coal River Mountain project alone.
