Peru’s largest and most pristine Amazon region is thretened by oil and gas exploration. 208,000 people rely on the region’s water. Peru’s Constitutional Tribunal has so far upheld the international human right to drinkable water but multinationals are puting pressure on the government to grant concessions. Read more here
